Cars
Cars
Cars, or any means of transportation has been one of our habitats. We spend considerable amounts of time in these vehicles to reach our designated spots. Think about it. I travelled all the way across the Atlantic Ocean from Nepal to United States, and it took me approximately 18 hrs in flight to reach here. Likewise, it further took me about an hour or two to go to the airport in Boston and another hour or two to reach the airport in Richmond. Let us add another hour from the Richmond airport to the University of Richmond. It is amazing how I almost spent a whole day of my life travelling. Transportation has transformed the world around us. If there were no means of transportation, I would have been studying in some school in Nepal and would have never imagined seeing America. Its influence in my life has been more or less significant. However, is it only I, or are there lots of people whose lives are affected by this means of technology? Chris would have never imagined going to Alaska if there were no transportation, and neither would have Tim. He would not have thought of saving the Grizzly bears. Chris spent a lot of time travelling around, going to different places. He started his journey with his old car, which later broke down. Likewise, Robert Maitland would not have been stuck on an island if there were no cars or means of transportation. Although hidden, transportation has always been one of the major factors in the books we have covered in class so far.
